Welcome to Dunn School. The beginning of the 2010/11 academic year has been fantastic. The new students are a group of kind and considerate young scholars who adapting well to life at Dunn. Our returning students have demonstrated great leadership and assisted their classmates as they navigate the first few weeks of school.
Information about the 2010/11 School Year
New Faculty - Chad Stacy - Director of Finance, Tommy Tessier - English/history teacher, Jacob Paine - Chinese teacher, Anna Brown - English teacher, Irvin Martin - French/Spanish teacher. Kenda Norris and Whitney Holmes returned from last year with increased responsibilities.
A new Leadership Curriculum is being developed
Course offerings include 9 AP courses and 6 honors classes
New Courses - Chinese and Philosophy. Latin continues to be offered two nights per week.
Residential changes - virtually all junior and senior boarding boys are living in Senior Dorm. All freshman and sophomore boarding boys are living in Boone and Knoles. Boarding girls all reside in Loy House - freshman and sophomores are upstairs and the junior and senior girls are living downstairs.
A new off-campus dance program is being offered during all three athletic seasons
Our fall athletic season has begun with our first contests on Wednesday, 9/15.
