What the heck is a Bowl-a-Thon?
We are going balls out for choice and YOU can help low-income women pay for the abortion services they need. Join us in an afternoon filled with cut-throat gutterball action, costumes, prizes, Lebowski worship, and odd shoes. To get in on the action, just grab 5 of your favorite people, come up with a fabulous name, register your team here, and let the fundraising begin! Don't have a team to join? Just email us at info@lilithfund.org, and we'll hook you up with a team of reproductive justice warriors!
What if I can't or don't want to bowl?
You don't even have to bowl to be on a team! We can have whole teams made up of folks who want to join us as cheerleaders, or virtual teams for our long-distance accomplices.
How do I get donations?
Each team is responsible for raising $600, which split among the team is only $100 per person. The tools on this website make it incredibly easy to invite your loved ones, facebook friends, twitter followers, or small army of screaming fans.
When The Big Day arrives, your team comes to the alley dressed in bowling finery such as the world has never seen. Costumes are highly encouraged, and prizes will be given for the boldest souls.
Who are we?
The Lilith Fund fills a vital health care gap by helping Texas women get the services they want and need. We believe that the right to choose an abortion is meaningless without access to abortion services. We believe that women have the right to shape their own lives and that of their families with dignity. The money you raise will help us keep those choices open and will have a direct impact on women's lives. Now let's knock down those barriers together!
