We are bowling for abortion access because we believe every woman should have the right to shape her own life. By raising money, we are filling a vital health care gap by helping women pay for abortion care, emergency contraception, options counseling, child care during abortion procedures, and transportation costs to clinics. We're supporting our community members when they need us most.
The Haven Coalition is a volunteer-run, 501c3 non-profit organization that provides shelter to women who are forced to travel to New York City for abortion services. Since 2001 Haven has hosted over 700 women for close to 850 nights. Our volunteers open their homes to women in need to provide a meal, a safe place to sleep and transportation to and from the clinics.
Founded in 2001, the New York Abortion Access Fund (NYAAF) is a volunteer-run, 501c3 non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to low-income women in New York State who cannot afford to pay for an abortion.
